Hello to All,

This is my first post and I am going to direct this to Scott. With your close involvement with Fuchs can you tell me anything about the Black Jack 21? I have listened to alot of your clips and I must say "I gotta go practice", seriously you a great player and I respect your input. I am looking for a great amp to compliment my Dr. Z Maz 38. Different sound that I can ab/y with it. I play primarily blues/ jazz type of music. Thnx for all input that any of this forum's members could give. I'm glad I found this place!

Thanks for posting and checking my stuff out.

Yesterday I was at the Philly guitar show and met up with Andy Fuchs at the Magdon Music booth. Andy demoed the Lucky 7 and the Train 45. It is my opinion that teh Train 45 is the one to have. It cleaned up exceptionally well from the guitar and had a complex chewy tone. I never played the 21 fwiw.

On the other hand, I had my proto SLX30 there and for my tastes that is the amp. Very versatile and all tones are accessable via the artist footswitch.

For blues either amp would be great. For jazz I gotta vote for the 2 channel amp.... Did a bop gig last bigth with the 30. Worked great and I even had a thick liquid OD tone that sounded like a horn when I wanted it. My purist bandmates had no problem with it.
