Hi Scott,

I'm looking for a more "up to date" sound for my old Twin. I play a little bit of everything from country to jazz. My axe is a custom built 3 pu tele with a single/dual stack pu at the neck. I'd like a nice beefy tone with good range. Something that works well with OD pedal and clean.

Do you think the tonespotter would be good in Twin or should I look at a RW & Blues? It's a shame I can't just try them all out. Wink

Suggestions from anyone on this board would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry for the delayed response. We were away at Disney World and I was getting caught up with stuff.....

I have been putting some Spotters through the paces this past week. I hope to do some Spotter/Wizard comparo clips tonight. So far, I like them. Nice and articulate and not muddy. Maybe they could use another db or so of low mids... Need to see if I can EQ it with the amp.

Sorry but I have no experience with the RW&B.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Spotter. I think TOmo Fujita loves them with his Fender amps as well.

Thanks for asking!

Scott

Scott,

Hope the family enjoyed gettin' their Disney on. Very Happy

Thanks for the opinion. Tomo gave me a couple good combo ideas as well. Eminence is like Baskin Robbins. Too many flavors to choose from. <grins>
