Just started working with a new act, which includes me on guitar, a hellacious banjo player, bassist and drums. This is from our first rehearsal together (the other three have rehearsed four or five times before inviting me), so there are a lot of stumbles-I'm just reading from charts--but I think it's gonna be a lot of fun.

I'm playing a 01 Suhr strat with the D'Addario JazzRock 011 set and fairly high action), Two Rock CR Sig prototype, Lexicon LXP1 and 2-channel Krinardalator in the loop), played through a reconed 50s Jensen p12n. The envelope filter is a QTron. (any of this look familiar? Wink)

New funk thing

New clips from recent rehearsals:

Check out "Hash Before Breakfast." I just learned it last night before we laid the track down, so don't know all the parts exactly yet, but it's a real hoot. It's just the old fiddle tune "Whiskey Before Breakfast" done in harmonic minor.

Think we'll be ready to play our fist gig some time in early August.
