Hey Steve,
beautiful shows last weekend... Went to sat and sun. shows...amazing! Were those twins and the bassman from sat. your amps? The sound was gorgeous...

I'm interested in trying out the setup you layed out in detail on the thread about your Portland rig. Couple of questions if u get a minute:

1) I have a bf showman and bandmaster and wanted to know if the output differences btwn the two would be a sonic disaster?

2) in your setup --as I understand it--- you have the guitar (via a tte) going straight into input 1 of the normal channel of one amp... Then from #2 input of the same channe. You go CIA a buffer to reverb. Reverb output goes to input one of other channel of same amp and 1 input of another amp. Right? The gist being your guitar signals giving the amp a straight hit vs a mixed one if you were to go through effects .

And you have your reverb mixed to 100% wet right? So in essence, isn't the #2 amp with input only from lexicon getting just a wet signal? What is one wanted dry guitar to come through both amps rather than essentially just one?

Am I missing something? If what I'm saying is on the money then why do u need a pair of two channels or is the second channel from the second amp getting the echo ?

Anyways ... Thanks for last weekend ... It was truly an inspiration in many ways.

Do you think this setup would sound better with 2 high powered amps or 2 low powered amps?

that's correct. between the two amps, there are four inputs. one input gets the clean line out of the TTE. two inputs (on separate amps) take the left and right reverb signals for stereo. the fourth input takes the echo signal from the TTE.
