Added a new Post to this Thread tonight. Just to see what everyone would say.

Maybe it'll spark something.

Twisted Evil

Yeah, and I was just trying to point out the whole "Versus" thing being irrelevant! LOL

Seems like every time these topics come up, someone gets defensive.

And of course, the fact that these things aren't going to work themselves out. Either get on the bus, or get left at the busstop.

I really liked your explanation of the Melodic Series as opposed to the Harmonic Series. Really clarified things, in an easy-to-digest way.

I am going to re-read that a lot and try to let it sink in firmly for awhile, as I think it's a vital distinction and I need to be able to reiterate it myself.

Anyway, thanks again.

Well, you've pretty much covered just about every angle on that Thread, haven't you?

Jeez!

I love reading your discussions with Jon. But heck, he works hard to stand his ground. Good for him, I guess. But, it seems like you've answered just about every question from every angle.

Anyway, thanks for that! I stirred the pot, but didn't stick around to smell the stink!

Twisted Evil

I wish I could converse on these topics at the level you two do. But, I feel like I'd just be a slow and clumsy turtle on the road.

Okay, the old Turtle here has tried to keep it "Hand's On" as opposed to some "deciphering of a code"! Twisted Evil

You've tried also. Mightily, I might add! LOL

Anyway, we'll see if anyone else chimes in.

I just hate all those freaking numbers and graphs scaring interested participants away.

Okay, I stirred, you stirred. Others jumped in there........finally! LOL

I just don't think that Thread will ever get out of the ditch.

Now, if people actually read and try th things talked about in it, they should be able to hear the real deal.
Getting them past the circular logic stuff may keep many from getting to the heart of it all, though.

Thanks to SK for trying so hard to clarify things.
