King of "African Rhumba," or "Soukous" guitar tradition out of the Congo. Been listening to him quite a lot lately and recently ul'd a tune for my band to listen to, so I thought I'd share it here. It'll be up for a few more days, so grab it. It's from an album called "Super Soukous" by one of his bands called "Loketo."

finally got a chance to start working on the tune for my band, and thought I'd post a little transcription of the opening figures for y'all here. He does a variation here and there but I think these are the 'core' figures.
