For a short time, I'm hosting a couple of clips of Steve's earlier versions of High and Lonesome. One is from the KVHW show with Jimmy Herring on 4.30.99:

The other is one of my favorites, from 2.20.95 with Zero. Check out the Tangerine Dream ending Smile

I've been digitizing a bunch of my tapes, so there may be more to come. Have a bunch of really really really old stuff Steve did on a two track reel to reel when he lived on Union Blvd in Bethlehem (ca 1975?) I wonder if he remembers Kittens, Max's Blues, Bubbles, more?. I believe I even still have the little bit of prose he wrote to accompany Max's Blues (Max was his cat that got squashed by a car one sad day).

What is that noise that starts about 4:40 into the recording?

It is very interesting to see how things evolve. H & L is completely different these days. Must be chemistry.
