Hey Steve-

Is this combo borrowed?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJlhxm6tHuw

I miss the old Sonomarin days, lots of good music going on back then.

Also you said something once about krinard's strat having a brass piece where the strings went through, could you tell me a little more about that? Or were you talking about a tremelo block? My main guitar is a '78 hardtail strat my grandpa gave me long ago and I wanna squeeze a little more out of it to alligator/hippyize it. It has nice wimpy 5.5k pickups, fat strings and I have the set-up dialed, just thinking the stock bridge may be holding it back from getting "there".

Thanks, Erik

A blast from the past!

Not borrowed, that's my 50 Watt Dumble downstage, some Boogie hardwood ext cab looking thing next to it.
Harmony Rocket, sixty bucks at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds flea market. . .

As I recall, on Bill's hardtail Strat the strings terminate in a smallish block of brass set into the body in place of the normal individual little bezel/cup things.
I think that was a fairly common 70's "hot rod" Fender mod.
Lots of brass. . .
