There is a lot of confusion in different forums about new Suhr amps.

Here are my questions:

- When can I buy the Hedgehog (with standard Suhr-logo)?

- Which of all these amps / ideas are planned?

1. Suhr PT100 EL34 3-Ch. with Midi-options (like the Hedgehog)
2. Traditional Multi-Channel amp with a bunch of knobs (new flagship)
3. PT50 2-Ch. no frills amp in a Badger size (Super Rev. + 800)
4. Landau 50W 6L6 single channel ("superish...")
5. 20-30W 6V6 2-Channel
6. MIDI programmable head with a single row of controls
7. Doug Aldrich Signature amp

It would be nice to get some answers!
All the best from Germany.

Serious bump for this! Although I suspect all will become clearer in the new year.

Hey all,

While we'd love to be able to answer all these questions, it would be really difficult to provide you with any definite information concerning anything that may be potentially in development (turning an idea into a reality can be quite a complicated and lengthy process Wink ) Rest assured we've got a few things in the works, and we'll do our best to keep you updated.

Thanks for your understanding!

Cheers for the update Noel, look forward to hearing as and when these ideas do become realities!

But these 2 babies need some (Suhr-branded) rocking brothers... Very Happy

Tom, you've got 3 classics with the options I'm considering.

What's your fave wood combination of the 3 ??

Sorry to highjack the thread.

Classic Alder/Maple + Pau Ferro (3xV60 + 1055 trem) = best SRV sound ever!

Classic Ash/1-peace Maple (3xFL + 510FS2 trem) = real 50's sounding

Classic Alder/Maple + Brasilian RW (2xV60LP, 1x SSV + VSV trem) = very rocking combination

They all all great, but if I have to choose only one wood combination, it would go with Alder/Maple + Pau Ferro!

(Btw: all of my guitars are fitted with SS frets)

Good question, what about the availability of the Hedgehog ?
I'am thinking about changing amps, and the Hedgehog was an option, but it looks more and more like the Loch Ness monster...

FOR REAL!!!!! We know ya'll are busy and all, but just please keep us informed. Especially after telling us on several occasions that it was weeks away. Right is right, and fair is fair and just ignoring the issue or requests for info is neither. Suhr, you guys are second to none and as long as the product maintains its unparalleled level of quality I will support you, but please give us the respect we as loyal supporters deserve and just be honest and consistent in your communication.

Thanks

All these things are in the works but delayed.
We just had a major milestone happen and purchased our own building for Suhr guitars. It is double the space we have now, almost 30,000 sqft, all nice and new with real offices and everything. We took possession last week. It will take 2~3 months to get fully moved in and situated so stay with us during during or move. The SL868 is available for order now, the Jim Kelley and 2 channel PT would be next, then the 4 channel PT
