I'm looking for some kind of instructional stuff on SRV's style of play I prefer to have video that I can access from the computer cuz it is easier to play adn use the computer then video plus the computer is free.
What I am trying to find is some "how to" stuff other then just tabs. I want to try adn learn that Stevie Shuffle and Texas Blues Style. I know Stevies sound comes from his hands I'm not trying to "BE" Stevie I just want to learn to play his damn songs and maybe pick up a couple STEVIEIZMS along the way. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED...

But with this program you can listen to the tabs, not only see them. |

If you want some "instructional video," pick up the El Mocambo, Live at Austin Texas, or Live at Montreaux

Greg Koch has 2 instructional DVD's on Stevie's style where you can learn a few of his tunes on each DVD, but they are probably the best instructional vids out there. There is also a series called "In The Style Of" by a guitarist named Curt Mitchell. He's put out 2 tapes of Stevie's style that are pretty good as well. but whatever you do....STAY AWAY FROM THE WOLF MARSHALL STUFF!!! not good at all. |
