Of course, his guitar playing was, and will always be, legendary. But, his voice for his blues style was soooo great sometimes. I think his vocals are exceptional on the "Blues At Sunrise" recording of Leave My Girl Alone. I also love listening to his voice on any version of Give Me Back My Wig. No doubt, Stevie could sing and belt the blues. Awesome. |

I agree 100%. I think his singing was kind of overlooked because of how exceptional he was at playing. But he definitely had a voice made for the blues....very strong.
Everytime I hear him sing such songs as The Sky Is Crying or The Things I Used To Do.....I get lost in the vocals. _________________ I use heavy strings, tune low, play hard and floor it. Floor it. That's technical talk.
