Hi Guys,

Here are some preliminary clips of the new Glaswerks Super Overdrive 50 amplifier. This is a 50 watt amp that accepts either 6L6 or EL34 tubes. It has a switchable post OD tonestack. So, it basically does the 80's Dumble voice and the 90's Dumble voice. The craftsmanship is topnotch. My friend Gary Johnson makes them.

These clips are just some tone tests. I am still exploring tone stack settings, speakers, mics, etc....

Pardon any and all "clams" These were recorded only to see how the amp records.

Here is the regular "80's" nonstack voice

Hee is the "90's" post od stack voice

(edit) Here is a brighter HRM clip. Nice upper mids! http://www.scottlernermusic.com/glas/GlasLoopHRMNew.MP3

http://www.scottlernermusic.com/glas/GlasLoopHRM.MP3 (Stack needs to be tweaked, I have been concentrating on the nonstack voice)

http://www.scottlernermusic.com/oct/GlasmanHRM4sm57.MP3 (one of my first stack efforts)

This morning I made good headway in getting a killer stack tone. I will record some much better stack examples in the evening.

The recording chain was Baker RF on bridge pup, Eminence Tonespotter speaker, SM57 mic, EMU 1820M

Happy Holidays!

Scott
